Personalized coaching

Women producers in Quebec and Ontario (starting in 2024) can access personalized coaching by phone to learn about the best resources available in their area. Whether you’re finding alternative sources of financing, making contacts at your municipality, or accessing an extensive network of experts, the project officer will assess your situation and suggest courses of action.

How it works

Cost:
Members: free
Non-members: $50

Sessions typically take place over two meetings of approximately 30 minutes each:

1. The first meeting gathers information from the agriculture business owner.
2. The second one is a follow-up to provide access to the requested resources.

The kinds of coaching needs can vary widely.
Common topics include:

- Researching financing options
- Optimizing commercial operations
- Launching special projects

Some examples of resources offered:

A farm owner wants to develop a marketing plan for subscriptions to seasonal flower bouquets.
A business owner needs financial aid for environmental innovations on her farm and needs help preparing the funding application.
A producer in the start-up stage is looking for the best resources to optimize strategic planning for her business.
