History and mission of The Agricultrices du Québec
Since it was founded in 1987, the Agricultrices du Québec (AQ) has been standing up for the concerns of its membership in relation to the UPA and the government. The AQ has also worked to improve the living conditions of farm families by influencing the dialogue on these matters.
At the AQ, our mission is to advance the interests of all women who work in agriculture and forestry, to develop their entrepreneurial skills both individually and collectively, and to recognize their economic contribution.
To this end, we have developed a number of initiatives to improve the status of women in agriculture.
