Who is the Dimension E program for?

Dimension E is for women who are farm owners and who want to:

Gain preferential access to resources for starting a new business or growing an existing one.
Improve their administrative skills and their knowledge of business administration.
Participate in networking activities with other women who own agricultural businesses.

All women who are farm or forest producers and live in Canada, or who are shareholders or authorized agents of an agriculture or forestry business may use Dimension E services by joining the Agricultrices du Québec.

In addition, all women who are spouses of producers, persons identifying as women and members of the next generation of women farmers who are not shareholders, but who participate directly or indirectly in activities related to the business, may also use our services.

Members living outside Quebec may join the organization, without a right to vote or sit on the Board of Directors of the Agricultrices du Québec, but with access to discounts and to most of the services offered.

Who is the program for?

Young women who are farm business owners
Example: A woman farmer who is a next-generation farmer (under the age of 40)
Women farmers
Example: The owner or co-owner of a registered agricultural business
Aspiring women farmers
Example: A woman working on a farm who plans to establish herself in agriculture
Experienced women business owners
Example: A woman who has been an agricultural producer for years and who wants to diversify her production
Women who run agricultural businesses
Example: A woman who owns or co-owns an agricultural business
Producers’ wives
Example: Wife of an agricultural business owner who shares in the work, and who may or may not receive a salary from the company
Women involved in the agriculture industry
Example: A woman who is a veterinarian, agriculturist, agricultural advisor, etc.
Women farm workers
Example: A woman who works on a farm not owned by herself or her spouse
Women agricultural students
Example: Any woman interested in getting starting in the world of agriculture
